Writing Poetry, Song and Theatre

with Brendan McLeod

SATURday, March 11, 2023
10:30am to 1pm

Join award-winning poet, playwright, and musician Brendan McLeod for a genre-bending journey that explores the connections between poetry and performance. This workshop will discuss the different approaches to spoken word, poetry and lyric writing, provide exercises that are inspiring, and help people navigate some of their questions about these different genres. Writers of any level are welcome, though we encourage those who are especially interested in branching out to a literary medium they're less familiar with.
